Spanish Cooking Master Class
We all share the love for food and love too try new flavours and dishes from different countries. This Spanish dish which originated on the east coast of Spain is widely regarded as Spains national dish. And when you taste Paella and learn it’s history to can very easily why.
Join us for one of our unique hands on Paella Cooking Classes where you and your friends can learn how to pre pair and cook an authentic Seafood Paella.
Our class starts at La Boqueria Food Market which is one of Barcelona most popular and know world wide. Your English and Spanish speaking chef will give you a quick tour of the market showing and collecting a range of fresh ingredients that will go into making your traditional sea food paella before making your way to the workshop for your Cooking Class Barcelona.
After buying all the ingredients at market it’s just a short walk to the location of our fully equipped open kitchen workshop where everybody will start with some delicious Sangria (which is FREE and Unlimited) while participating in making and tasting your own tapas. During this time your chef will be preparing his kitchen space with all of the colourful ingredients necessary for the giant paella which will include fresh sea food from the market, or chicken paella, or the mix of both of them.
At this point your chef will take you through each step show you the correct way to pre pair your vegetables, how to clean fresh calamari and other different sea food.
More Sangria Anyone!
Your Paella will take around 20 to 30 minutes to simmer and cook. During this time you and your friends can take our Sangria Making Workshop where you will learn which fruit juices, wines and alcohols to mix together. Your jugs of Sangria can then be served as the perfect refreshment with your sea food Paella.
Don’t Like Seafood?
Your chef will pre pair a second alternative dish for those who don’t like seafood and it will be served with the Paella for everyone to enjoy. For any quests who have any allergies you can simply explain to your chef and he will be happy to accommodate.
